ADHD is affecting people's lives on a serious level. People need urgent help and cannot wait 2-4 years

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions about local health services, including diagnosis and treatments for patients with ADHD/ADD are a matter for individual clinicians, NHS Trusts and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), not the UK Government or Parliament.

We have published the following petitions, which you might like to sign:

Make ASD and ADHD screening available to all children of nursery age: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/606855

Increase funding to pupil referral units to meet SEND needs: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/607411
