Make shark finning illegal, take action against this crime, action crime to U.N.
Suspend any trade talks with China and Spain or any country dealing in shark fins, China being the importer, Spain the exporter, until all shark finning been stopped and made illegal!
support the work of BLUE SEAS PROTECTION U.K. reg. marine charity, calling for a STOP to this barbaric trade
Send a clear message to the rest of the world that this crime of killing sharks for there fins must be stopped!
100,000,000 sharks have there fins cut off and are then thrown back into the sea alive unable to swim or feed and die a long slow agonising death.

We understand that you are concerned about shark finning, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Shark finning is already illegal in UK waters, and the UK Government is banning the import and export of shark fin products.
We can accept petitions calling for trade sanctions against particular countries, but it would need to be clear what sanctions you wanted to be imposed, and against what countries.
We could accept a petition calling for the Government to increase funding to protect sharks, but we can't accept petitions calling for additional funding for particular charities.
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for, so can't accept petitions calling for action by international bodies, such as the UN.
