Petition Action

School children to be granted 5 days a year as authorised absence without a fine

Petition Details

To give every school child 5 days a year to be taken whenever the parents like, to allow that children’s family to take a break in much more affordable circumstances. Those being outside of school holidays.

Additional Information

The prices for taking a trip away being that abroad or within the uk are always ridiculously over priced during the school holidays, leaving many families struggling to get a clear break from todays day to day life stresses. With people suffering daily from mental health issues I feel strongly that time away is needed and I feel 5 days out of any academic year would have more of a positive impact on the children rather than negative. Especially with the record of todays mental illnesses.
