The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions about policing in London are a matter for the Metropolitan Police, not the UK Government or Parliament.

The London Assembly, which oversess the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime, has its own petitions process. You can find out more about how to petition the London Assembly here: www.london.gov.uk/about-us/london-assembly/petitions
