Reduce carehome fees. People should not have to sell their home to pay the fees
Reduce carehome fees, people should not have to sell their homes that they worked hard to buy, to pay for fees when tenants don't have to pay. Over £1000 a week is ridiculous amount to pay. That gives a care home of 50 residents £2600,000.00 a year !!!!!
The Government encourages people to work and buy their own homes. But realistically if they were housed by their local council and did not work , then when the time came for them requiring care they get it free. When hard working home owners pay over £1000 a week !!! Selling there homes etc to pay for it.
