Ban strike action lasting more than 48 hours
I would like the Government to act on the crippling chokehold indefinite strikes can have on the country by banning strikes over 48 hours. Unions should then be required to hold a fresh ballot before holding any further strike action.
This ban should apply only to strikes which negatively impact communities, not other forms of protest which don't impact the general public such as 'free pass' or 'fare free' protests. I feel these protests are valid as they prove a point but do not subject the public to further unnecessary abuse.
