Abolish VAT on electricity and fuel.
During this cost of living crisis it is completely unacceptable for the state to be taxing fuel and energy which inflates the cost even more.
46% of the money spent on petrol is tax. This is ridiculous. If we abolished this completely energy & fuel companies would immediately have pressure taken off them. But this wouldn’t just benefit the cooperations, it would take huge pressure off the working class as by not having prices inflated further due to tax.
