Bring the Green Homes Grant Voucher Scheme back!

Petition Details

Bring the GHGVS scheme back in order to attract the private owners of Solid Wall properties to have their properties insulated in an attempt to meet the Net Zero by 2050 target.

Additional Information

It was said that the grant wasn’t efficient enough and less than 10% of the funding was spent. In this case our suggestion is for the remainder of the amount to be rolled over to next year and the year after.

Installers that took part in GHGVS last year and were successful are ready to grow which means that every year we can grow therefore absorb more funding and insulate more properties.

I really think that improving something that worked is the way forward.
