Striking workers should pay back furlough payments as part of new pay deals.
Striking workers should be made to repay furlough payments over, say a 20 year period. Typically £10,000 furlough payment equates to £34.72 per month over 20 years. This reclaim should be incorporated into pay deal
There is much discontent from general public that industries and services who were protected by billions of furlough payments are now threatening strikes and asking for unreasonable pay increases. This would really help the Treasury with debt caused by Covid 19.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about pay deals for workers engaged in industrial action are a matter for their employers, not the UK Government or Parliament.
