To set up a prostate cancer screening programme for men
To set up a prostate cancer screening programme for Men (~40+ or 50+)
1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer. a prostate cancer screening programme for men will identify the early stages of this disease and save lives. It is a simple blood test to check PSA levels.
Women are automatically called for cervical smears and mammograms for cancer screening so why are men any different? For a simple blood test / manual exam, many lives could be saved or improved by diagnosing earlier or ruling it out for peace of mind. Money saved on treatment could be used in the screening/prevention processes.
