Regulate feed in tariffs
With ever rising electricity tariffs energy companies should be regulated to ensure feed in tariffs for homeowners with solar panels are reasonable.
It would make sense to link a company’s feed in traffic to its standard tariff, eg 80%.
So when tariffs go up so do feed in tariffs.
It’s scandalous to charge a customer 35p /kWh and yet give them 5p /kWh when they feed back into the grid.

The Feed-in tariff scheme is already regulated, although it closed to new applicants in April 2019 (with some exceptions), and has been replaced by the smart export guarantee (SEG).
