Nuclear energy is uneconomical and immoral.
We propose that the government should not seek to expand reliance upon nuclear energy, since it is both uneconomical and immoral. It must answer the question: How much will it cost to store and monitor existing nuclear waste for the next 100 years, let alone the next 100,000? Also, how can it be moral to bequeath such a costly and toxic legacy to countless future generations?
