Petition Action

Passport application process investigation

Petition Details

We request an investigation in to the efficiency of the passport offices.

Many people have waiting for over 10 weeks for their passports. However, there are some who have been waiting for over 6 months. It is difficult to perceive how a passport can take such lengths of time to be processed.

Additional Information

The government needs to find ways to make the passport application process and delivery of services more efficient. This would be done by finding out what problems each office is facing whether is due to understaffed departments, staff incompetencies, lack of resources etc.
