Compulsory for all city offices to have sufficient cycle storage for employees.
The government to introduce legislation similar to the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 to set a minimum number of secure cycle storage facilities based on the number of employees working at an office.
Ensure office workers have the option of active travel when commuting to work without having to worry about where they will store their bike securely. This will help encourage active travel, improve health and reduce emissions.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about whether to provide cycle storage for employees are a matter for individual employers, not the UK Government or Parliament.
We could accept a petition calling for changes to building regulations for new commercial buildings, so that these have to include cycle storage in future.
