Ensure the addition of “the right to an abortion” under the new Bill of Rights.
To protect the rights of people with a uterus. Ensure our health care rights are protected and allow people the right to choose. In order to do so, this right needs to be protected by law.
The right to an abortion is basic healthcare that anyone with a uterus should be entitled to. It protects victims of rape, incest, child-mothers and allows people to make their own decisions about their bodies and their lives. Bringing a child into a life they are not wanted in is unethical and unfair. It prevents suffering for both parent and child. It is a necessary procedure and everyone who wants one should be entitled to one!
