Create new "BBC Radio 2 Extra" radio station. Specialist music genre programmes
BBC Radio lacks a dedicated station for alternative music genres
The likes of country, folk, blues, jazz and world music require more air time and a national audience outlet to promote their specific genres

Decisions about the content of different radio stations are an operational matter for the BBC, not the UK Government or Parliament.
You could have a petition calling on the Government to fund the BBC to increase the diversity of its radio programming, if that is something you'd like to see happen.
