More money invested into renewable energy sources
As a part of the 2008 Climate Change Act, the government must invest more money into renewable energy sources.
The government isn’t putting enough money into their schemes. Included in the 2008 act is a pledge to reach net zero by 2050. This will simply not happen if the government doesn’t invest more money into increasing renewable energy sources, and support scientists in discovering how we can make these sources more efficient. This is why we are demanding significantly increased funding and investment, so that we can save our planet before it's too late.
