Rectify the unfair treatment of older pensioners.
Changes made on 6 April 2016 to the U.K. state pension have resulted in many older claimants receiving significantly lower pensions, than those eligible at a later date.
A man born before 6 April 1951
A woman born before 6 April 1953
Can claim the basic state pension of £141.85 per week.
A man born on or after 6 April 1951
A woman born on or after 6 April 1953
Can claim the new state pension of £185.15 per week.
We call on the Government to reconsider the changes and address without delay the imbalances introduced.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand you're concerned about the state pension, however it's not clear what specifically you'd like the Government to do to "address the imbalances" in the current pension structure.
You could have a petition calling for specific changes to the pension system, so long as it was clear what those changes would be.
