More support and longer in hospital once had a c section
Provide support for single mums who have a c section to have a support worker to help them if they have no friends or family around once they go home due to a major operation mums physically can’t do anything especially if they’ve got other children to look after.
This will prevent the neglect of children as the mother will have support during her recovery to be able to be looked after properly, prevent infections in the scar and getting Ill. Give mothers more time in hospital to recover and help them, not just 24 hours!!

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about patient care are a matter for the NHS and individual clinicians, not the UK Government or Parliament.
We could accept a petition calling for the Government to increase funding for postnatal services for patients who have undergone a c-section, but it would still be up to the NHS what changes to make to postnatal services, and what support to provide to individual patients..
