Regulate the carrier industry
I would like the government to stop carrier companies from taking advantage of the end customer. If there is a delivery from a company you have purchased from and they use a certain carrier and there is a problem with your delivery then you have to go to the company you purchased goods from.
Carrier companies hide behind the sub-contract clause. I would like to see the end customer, whose goods the carrier have in their possession, also have the delivery agreement transferred to them so they can complain to the delivery carrier direct and have a right to compensation for poor quality service.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about contractual arrangements for the delivery of goods are a matter for individual retailers, not the UK Government or Parliament.
We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:
Create a regulator for courier companies and impose stricter penalties: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/619832
