Tougher sentences on violent and sexual crimes.
Rape, murder and domestic abuse sentences to be incresed by 50%.
Toughter sentences on violent and sexual crimes will help deter people from re-offeding or even offending in the first place. These are horrific for people to experience and therefore it would be better for the UK to have tougher sentences, not only as a punishment but as a deterrent as well.
