Pay school science technicians higher wages.
Increase the wages of school science technicians to reflect the level of responsibility they have. X
School science technicians need to have a extensive and varied knowledge of all three sciences. Responsibility for the safe use of dangerous chemicals and electrical equipment whilst supplying the teachers with inspirational lessons is the sole responsibility of technicians and the wages do not reflect that. Technicians must be aware of changing chemical legislation and risk assessment at all times to insure the safety of staff and students and the wages do not reflect that.
