Regulate parent and child bays
I would like all car park owners to have a legal obligation to have a specific number of parent and child bays in the same way they are obligated to have disabled bays.
I want a law of sort passed to ensure all car park owners have an obligation to a certain percentage of their bays to be dedicated to children under 5.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about how many disabled or family parking bays to provide are a matter for individuals and organisations operating car parks, not the UK Government or Parliament.
Under the Equality Act 2010 public bodies and businesses are required to make reasonable adjustments in respect of people with disabilities, but there are no legal requirements for car parks to have a certain number of disabled bays.
