Petition Action

Remove parental responsibility for those convicted of child sexual offences

Petition Details

People convicted of child sexual offences retain parental responsibility for their children, and may still be allowed access to their children. We want the Government to make anyone convicted of child sexual offences lose parental responsibility for their children, so they have no parental rights.

Additional Information

We want this to happen because no child should be exposed to a person who is capable of such crimes. We believe it is unacceptable that parents who are guilty of child sexual offences should be allowed access to their children.
