Rectify injustice of pension credit threshold
Create a fair system for people in receipt of state pension
One person who receives full state pension is £3 over qualifying threshold for pension credit. They therefore miss out on thousands of pounds including ad hoc government payments, free glasses, free dental, TV licence and any other benefit based opportunities. That person, who paid up all their NI is left thousands of pounds poorer than those people who did not pay all their NI.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about the threshold for receiving Pension Credit, but it's not clear how you want this to be changed.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:
Raise the Pension Credit income threshold to equivalent of National Living Wage: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/619088
