Add large cigarette-style warnings to all one side of all medicine packages.
Medicine abuse is a major public health problem. There are 90,000 admissions for cases of Paracetamol abuse per annum alone. The vast majority of these are unintentional. People don't read the small print. Bigger warnings would radically reduce this number.
Paracetamol: paracetamol overdose leads to liver damage. If you think you are at risk consult your doctor, pharmacist, or call NHS 111. Picture of liver to be attached.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about overdoses, but it's not clear if you want mandatory warning labels on all medication, or just paracetamol.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
