Immediate & Urgent Intervention of Support to Tackle the Cost of Living Crisis
We, the Undersigned, call upon the Government to provide robust packages of support to all families across the UK immediately and urgently to combat the cost of living crisis, particularly with domestic fuel prices.
A reminder to you: the responsibility of Government is to protect its citizens.
The cost of living crisis has hit families and individuals hard and it is forecasted to get even worse. At the time of writing, the current estimates for domestic energy prices, based on typical use, will soar from £1,971/yr to over £3,500/yr in October 2022 and higher in January 2023 (Cornwall Insight).
With rising inflation and interest rates, car fuel prices, food prices and more, it is simply necessary for Government to intervene swiftly and decisively. We simply cannot let anyone suffer.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about the cost of living, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
