Nationalise power and invest in renewable energy infrastructure.
Stop the huge profits electricity companies are making at our expense. Electricity bills are a big driver for the inflation that is damaging lives and ruining the economy. One of the reasons given for Brexit was to take back control, if Europeans are able to apply a cap so why can’t we?
I would like the government to prioritise investment in renewable energy infrastructure, research grants for renewable energy and cap the price of electricity to ease the cost of living crises and bring down inflation.
The wind and sun are free!
Energy companies should not make vast profits at our expense. The infrastructure costs and should be government funded.
