Provide disabled access to the beach
Provide disabled access (e.g. ramps) to the beach so that it is accessible to everyone
I would like the government to do it because a lot of disabled or elderly people are unable to access the beach, which can affect their mental health. It is a form of indirect discrimination, which is mentioned in the Equality Act 2010.
I am disabled and unable to access the beach as I am a wheelchair user.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or House of Commons is responsible for.
Decisions about accessibility of local beaches are a matter for individual local authorities, not the Government or House of Commons.
As a result it is not possible for the Government or House of Commons to take the action you have requested.
You could raise this issue with a local councillor, who represents you. You can use this page to find out who your local councillors are, and how to contact them: www.gov.uk/find-your-local-councillors
