New laws to help people protect them from unprofessional independent bailiffs
Due to the pandemic and now the cost of living crisis it is now time that Independent bailiff companies are trained to deal with there jobs better and more professionally, I've been dealing with bailiffs for a long period past and present however there behaviour is appalling. Things need to change.
I believe a government intervention is necessary as people's situations are only going to get worse with the public, mental health, depression, Domestic violence and suicide rates are ever increasing issues that the stress of these unmonitored companies is causing. I understand they have a job to do but empathy is never shown and needs to be addressed by the government, underhanded tactics and bullying behaviour is no longer acceptable for self employed agents to enforce without new training.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We understand you're concern about bailiffs, but we're not sure what you'd like to be changed.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
