Fair travel for all persons with a mobility impairment.
Allow persons using rollators the same access to a safe journey without confrontation, as those persons using a wheelchair.
Living with a mobility impairment I use a rollator to travel. Access on or off using the ramp is denied and putting it in the wheelchair and buggy area.
I don't have lympth nodes. Llifting and lowering causes pain and it's heavy. It has wheels and i fall over.
I'm subject to verbal abuse from passengers and told to get off the bus by drivers if the rollator is folded in the aisle.
I feel discriminated against because of my impairment and want bus companies to include rollators on their signage enabling a safer and trouble free joirney..

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Under the Equality Act 2010 businesses and public agencies are required to take reasonable steps to make sure that if you are a disabled person, you can use an organisation’s services as close as it is reasonably possible to get to the standard usually offered to non-disabled people. This requirement would apply to a disabled person who has to make use of a rollator.
Determining what adjustments to make to meet their legal obligations, including how to accommodate wheelchair users and people who need to use a rollator, are a matter for individual organisations, not the UK Government or Parliament.
If you think you have been discriminated against you can find out more about your rights here: www.equalityhumanrights.com/en/advice-and-guidance/disability-discrimination
