Appoint an Adult Mental Health Ambassador and Adult Mental Health Group
Mental health and the lack of a joined up approach and timely services is a major issue.
The Government has appointed a Youth Mental Health Ambassador - so the importance and impact of such a role is already realised. We believe there should also be an Adult Mental Health Ambassador.
If the Government are taking advice in relation to youth mental health they should also consider adult mental health.
There is a Mental Health in Education Action Group which the Youth Ambassador sits on and we believe there is a need for there to be an action group in relation to adult mental health also.
