Inquiry into Ofgem to determine if it is fit for purpose
An urgent inquiry needs to happen into Ofgem to determine whether they are fit for purpose. This inquiry should consider whether Ofgem is fulfilling its roles and responsibilities as detailed on their About Us page on their website.
The cost of living crisis has got to a point where the average energy bill could go up to £4200 in January 2023. I feel Ofgem have failed in their responsibility of looking after the consumer and not controlling competition in the market, and this must be investigated.
