Nationalise all energy companies
The sale of energy (ostensibly gas and electricity) to private citizens is an essential public utility. Private companies have skimmed profits and failed to invest for decades and continue to squeeze ordinary workers on prices. They should be brought back into public ownership.
Energy is an essential utility, true competition does not exist in this market. Rampant profiteering has destabilised the industry and is leaving millions on the brink of poverty.
