Stop taking carers allowance off income based welfare
Currently Carers allowance is taken off income based welfare. For example income support. Income based esa and universal credit This penalise.families couples who rely on income based welfare. Not all can work and care.
Iam a Carer for my disabled husband He is not eligible for contributions based welfare anything I earn including carers allowance is taken off our joint claim of income based esa.
the government say.We are entitled to a total. Of £219 pw Because we are a couple. Because of caring responsibilities , limited capability for work and in. Esa surport group.Anything I earn Including Carers allowance is taken off that amount £1 for £1 Meaning we are permanently on the bare minimum
