Petition Action

Allow Scottish expats living in the UK a vote in the Independence referendum

Additional Information

As a proud Scot, who had to move to England with work. I feel that I have been ignored and forgotten about, when it comes to making the decision about Scotland’s future.

As with many Scots, living in the UK but outside Scotland, we have no rights in the forthcoming referendum.

Yet why is it that if you come from anywhere in the World and happen to be living in Scotland, you can vote to decide Scotland’s future.

This is WRONG.

Surely all Scottish people living in the UK should have the right to decide Scotland’s (& the UK) future.

The UK Government must ensure that there is one vote for each and every Scottish person of voting age living in the UK.
