Give English schools the day off on 21st November
Since England at the world cup play at 1pm on Monday 21st November I think it is deserved that schoolchildren deserve to experience the countries world cup.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about school closures are a matter for individual schools and local authorities, not the UK Government or Parliament.
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to make 21 November a bank holiday, as the Government is responsible for designating bank holidays, on which schools also close.
