Increase tax free allowance to help those most in need due to the current crisis
The cost of living crisis is impacting the poorest in society the worst, tax reductions will only help the the more well off in society, not state pensioners/low earners - The increase in tax free allowances is the fairest way to implement help. I suggest an increase of 30% from £12570 to £16341
It is self explanatory that immediate action is required due to projected inflation peaking to 13-14%, implementing this proposal immediately, or at least at the beginning of the the next fiscal year is in order to alleviate hardship.
