Nursery’s closing leaving no adequate provision of care for children birth to 11
To review childcare provision , costs - currently private nursery’s charge a small fortune , they also do not provide adequate care for children at primary school level as not cost effective or there’s no requirement. As a working parent family what do we do when our child has school holidays
I would like a review, childcare in European countries has a better provision, we are at the mercy of private childcare providers that charge a lot and also it appears that due to cost of living increases are now shutting doors and closing down , leaving working parents facing further stresses on mental health and also financial well being, no alternative but to review whether to work and help keep roof over head of family , food on table and if we can heat homes

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We're not sure whether you'd like a review into the cost of childcare, the availability of childcare, or something else.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
