BAN property licencing for landlords why pay to licence ur own home who benefits?

Landlords are forced to purchase property licences! Why do we have to pay £500+ to licence our own property if the government/borough wants to introduce licencing it should be available for FREE, landlords have to find a reliable tenant pay for any repairs make sure everything is in good working order or face a hefty fine! Now purchase a licence for your own property to show who? no-one pays the landlord for the damages we deal with tenants not the borough not the government this is a con and easy money for the local council stop this daylight robbery we are the victims
