Make the August Bank Holiday Bob Crow Day
As there was a move to make rename this Day Margaret Thatcher Day, I believe that we should look at renaming it Bob Crow Day. This is in recognition of a great Trade Union leader, who did what it said on the tin..He represented his members brilliantly..I never met the man but I had the utmost respect for him as a trade unionist.
The Trade Union movement lost a true fighter for the workers on 11th March 2014.
Lets do him the honour of getting enough signatures that this has to be debated in the House of Commons.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There are no legislative means of the Government actually giving any day a name. Any that exist are informal and established through long-standing custom, not because the Government has made it so.
