Set energy prices based on average cost of energy production, not gas price.
Establish communications with energy companies to enable reduced prices based on cost of production of all energy to the national grid rather thna only through gas prices. Enact with immediate effect through executive, and review progress with general committee to ensure functionality.
To help with the cost of living crisis and prevent unfair profiting of gas energy companies where the cost of producing the average unit of energy is not what the public are currently paying. This is currently based on gas prices, not all energy prices.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Wholesale energy prices are a matter for producers, rather than the UK Government or Parliament. We could accept petitions relating to the consumer cost of energy, providing that the petition is clear what you'd like to change.
