Pay for the Cost of Living with minimum 50% Windfall Tax & then <50% Borrowing
The people of the UK shouldn’t have to pay for freezing energy bills this winter, by borrowing and adding to the national debt, when the energy companies are making £170bn+ in profits.
That’s why we ask that a minimum of 50% of the cost of living plan should be paid for by windfall tax and no more than 50% of the cost by borrowing.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Your petition both asks that more than (<) 50% of borrowing and a maximum of 50% borrowing. If you mean less than (>) 50% borrowing then we're not sure how you'd like any gap between a 50% windfall tax and less than 50% borrowing to be funded.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
