Petition Action

Public sector pay rise and MP pay increase

Additional Information

In this time of austerity where public sector workers are being give pay rises of between 0-1% it is immoral that members of parliament are being awarded a pay increase of 13%. This petition aims to create a fairer pay award for all public sector workers in line with members of parliament who are also public sector workers.
Public sector workers should either receive the same pay award as members of parliament or MPs should receive the same as public sector workers.
