Create and enforce minimum inclusive design standards for all types of packaging
Much of current grocery and medication packaging impedes older people as well as people with disabilities. We want the government to legislate for the creation and enforcement of minimum inclusive design standards (akin to the standards for the built environment) for all types of packaging.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
We understand you're concerned about improving the functionality of some types of packaging for certain groups of people. However, we're not sure what products you'd like this to cover, or what specific changes to existing design practice you'd like the Government to promote.
