Introduce proportional representation, votes from 16, and compulsory voting
We want the Government to better represent the people and to move towards consensus politics, away from endless antagonism, by changing to a proportional representation system, with votes from 16 and compulsory voting.
Without active participation of the whole nation the fragmentation of the consensus will continue. Government needs to reform and reset itself. Changing the electoral system, broadening the electoral base and making sure everyone casts a vote will achieve this. We also want the broadest consensus - the future of the next generation is at stake and they need to be heard.
