Sever all diplomatic ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran
There are widespread reports of the Iranian regime violently cracking down on Iranians protesting for their freedoms. The UK should apply whatever pressure it can on the Iranian regime to stop this. The Government of the United Kingdom should thus sever all diplomatic ties with Iran.
In recent weeks there have been reports of dozens of protestors being killed, and hundreds injured and imprisoned. Severing diplomatic ties will send a clear message that the UK will not stand for human rights abuses, while applying pressure on the regime to end the current violence.
