Create a Queen Elizabeth II Bank Holiday
The Queen Elizabeth II Day will be marked by celebrating the Queen’s life, passions, faith, service, and legacy. The aim of the bank holiday will be to encourage families and communities to come together as they did in time past for the Queen’s jubilee celebrations throughout her 70-year reign.
The British public need a collective opportunity to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s legacy as the longest reigning British monarch. Her remarkable qualities of love, acceptance, faith, uncompromising dedication, and loyal service left an indelible mark on people of all backgrounds, status, and persuasions from around the world. A bank holiday will serve as an intentional celebration beyond statutes and monuments in specific locations to a lasting memorial and an example for future generations.
