Issue the Queen Elizabeth 1977 Silver Jubilee medal.
I was in the Royal Navy at the time of the 1977 Silver Jubilee, serving on HMS Gurkha at the Royal Spithead Review, the last Naval review to take place. If I remember correctly only 1 or 2 medals where awarded to members of the crew and went to the Captain and another senior rank.
Issue in retrospect the Silver Jubilee to all Armed Forces Veterans who's service to the Queen & Country was ignored.
