Petition Action

Ban Single-Use Electronic Cigarettes.

Petition Details

They are made of plastic and a hazardous lithium-ion battery These chemicals are extremely hazardous to the environment and wildlife. The batteries are also fully rechargeable. they are simply designed without a power connection to render them obsolete after 24 hours use.

Additional Information

It is very contradictory against the green agenda that is going on at the moment. Citizens are being told to work more hours and take shorter showers when corporations are being allowed to profit from this kind of plastic and chemical waste destined for landfill and the ground. Look around on any street and you will see these devices on the ground. often with their batteries hanging out. These batteries have potential years of use in them. designing them to be disposed of so quickly is immoral.
